About
About Trerice
Trerice was built in 1572 for Sir John Arundell and has changed little since. Its curved gables and the great window of the hall, with hundreds of small panes of glass, make it one of the most charming houses in Cornwall. It is cared for by the National Trust.
Inside you can see Elizabethan plasterwork, furniture and a collection of clocks. Outside there is a knot garden, an orchard and a bowling green where you can try kayling, a traditional Cornish game of skittles.
