About The Hurlers
The Hurlers is a rare group of three Bronze Age stone circles set side by side on the moor near the village of Minions. They take their name from a legend that the stones were men punished for playing the Cornish game of hurling on the Sabbath.
The area is rich in history, with old mine engine houses and the Cheesewring rock formation a short walk away.
