About
About Boscastle Harbour
Boscastle’s natural harbour, protected by stone walls built in the 1500s, is one of the most sheltered on Cornwall’s rugged north coast. Much of the harbour and surrounding land is cared for by the National Trust.
The village made headlines in 2004 when a flash flood swept through, but it has been beautifully restored. The Valency Valley, loved by Thomas Hardy, leads inland, and the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic is by the harbour.
