About
About Polperro
Polperro’s whitewashed cottages crowd around a tiny harbour in a steep valley between Looe and Fowey. Fishing boats still work from here, and the village was once a notorious smuggling centre, a story told in its small heritage museum.
Cars are not allowed into the village centre, so it keeps a peaceful feel, with narrow lanes, galleries, pubs and seafood cafés.
