About
About Readymoney Cove
Readymoney Cove is a short walk from Fowey town centre along the Esplanade. The little sandy beach is sheltered and calm, and the ruins of St Catherine’s Castle, a Tudor fort built by Henry VIII, stand on the headland above.
The author Daphne du Maurier once lived in a house overlooking the cove, and the coast path from here leads to the Gribbin Daymark and Polkerris.
