About
About Geevor Tin Mine
Geevor was a working tin mine until 1990. Today it is a museum and part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, telling the story of the miners and their families who worked here.
You can explore the mill and processing buildings, the miners’ changing room (the “dry”), which looks as if they have just left, and the museum. The highlight for many visitors is a guided tour underground into the 18th-century Wheal Mexico workings.
