About
About Newlyn Harbour
Newlyn, just along the seafront from Penzance, is one of England’s biggest fishing ports, with a busy fish market and a harbour full of trawlers and crabbers.
In the late 1800s it attracted the artists of the Newlyn School, who painted fishing life here; their legacy continues at Newlyn Art Gallery. The village has great seafood restaurants and fishmongers.
