About
About Lamorna Cove
Lamorna Cove sits at the bottom of a lush valley a few miles south of Penzance. Granite was once quarried here and shipped from the little pier, and in the early 1900s the cove attracted artists of the Newlyn and Lamorna schools, including Lamorna Birch.
Today it is a peaceful spot for a walk, a swim from the rocks in calm weather or a cream tea at the café. The coast path to Mousehole is one of the finest in west Cornwall.
