About
About National Maritime Museum Cornwall
The museum sits on Discovery Quay overlooking one of the world’s largest natural harbours. Its galleries explore Cornwall’s maritime history, from the Falmouth Packet ships that carried mail around the world to fishing, lifeboats, shipwrecks and small boats, with a large collection suspended in the main hall.
Climb the lookout tower for views across Falmouth harbour and the Carrick Roads, or head down to the Tidal Zone, where windows below the waterline show the harbour as the tide rises and falls.
