About
About St Enodoc Church
St Enodoc is a small church with a crooked spire, half-hidden in the dunes above Daymer Bay. For centuries it was almost buried by drifting sand, and legend says the vicar had to enter through the roof to hold the annual service that kept it consecrated.
The poet Sir John Betjeman, who loved this corner of Cornwall, is buried in the churchyard.
