About Porthgwarra
Porthgwarra is a small cove reached through tunnels cut into the cliff by miners, used by fishermen to bring boats and seaweed up from the shore. At low tide a small sandy beach appears.
It has been used as a filming location for Poldark, and the clifftops above at Gwennap Head are a great spot for watching seabirds and dolphins.
