About
About Godrevy
Godrevy sits at the northern end of the three-mile sweep of sand around St Ives Bay. Offshore stands Godrevy Lighthouse, built in 1859, which is said to have inspired Virginia Woolf’s novel To the Lighthouse.
The headland is cared for by the National Trust, with easy clifftop walks. Grey seals often haul out on the beaches at Mutton Cove, just around the point; watch them from the cliff path and never go down to the beach, as disturbing them can harm them.
