About
About Porthgwidden Beach
Porthgwidden is the smallest of the St Ives beaches, a little sandy cove sheltered between the Island headland and the old town. Its calm water makes it ideal for young children, and there is a café right on the sand.
The Island, with St Nicholas Chapel and views across the bay, is just above, and Porthmeor Beach is a few minutes’ walk around the headland.
