About
About Praa Sands
Praa Sands (pronounced “Pray”) is one of the longest beaches on Cornwall’s south coast, with a mile of golden sand backed by dunes. Because it faces south-west into Mount’s Bay, it can pick up good surf, while the eastern end is often calmer.
There is a café and pub at the western end, and the coast path leads west towards Prussia Cove and east towards Rinsey and its clifftop engine house.
